A beautiful Mid-19th Century Crag swallow bird print. Expertly hand-colored wood engraving, presented in a wood frame.

The description attached to the back of frame reads:
This plate is from “A History of Birds of Europe, not Observed in the British Isles”, by Charles Bree, London. It [this etching] is from the First Edition, published from 1859-1864. This wood engraving was hand-colored at the time of publication.

A book excerpt about the Crag Swallow is also attached to the back of the frame.

In good vintage condition. Wear consistent with age and use.
