Semi-Antique Persian Accent Rug, 5’-3” x 4’

A beautiful, semi-antique, Persian Heriz traditional hand-knotted accent rug with an elongated diamond shape center medallion. This rug measures approximately 5’-3” x 4’. This wool pile (cotton warp) rug is predominantly red, with dusty blue accents, but has a wide range of accent colors including olive green, saffron, pink, raisin, and cream. Geometric floral border. The pile on this rug is a little higher than most we have seen, which gives it some dimension. A nice addition to many styles of decor and would be great for a bedside rug, entry rug, or layered with other rugs.

In good vintage condition. Clean. Some light fading and what looks to be some color bleeding in a few areas, but overall the color and tones read as consistent. One end of the rug has an extended warp (about 1”) before the fringe starts, and the other end is unknotted before the fringe starts. There are some loose threads to edges. (Please see all photos). Wear consistent with age and use.
